Amposta Mon Amour is the third film in the silent film trilogy made for the Festa del Mercat a la Plaça d’Amposta (Market Festival in the Plaza de Amposta). The three films have been directed by Jordi Galo with the executive production by Filmsnòmades, for the Amposta City Council.
1.- L’HERÈNCIA DE L’AVI GISBERT.
1910, the Gisbert brothers are very lazy bachelors and their grandfather is about to die. Seeing the outlook, the grandfather, with only two days to live, proposes to them that the first one who marries before he dies will take all the inheritance. Who will make a girl fall in love with just two days? Who will take Grandfather Gisbert’s inheritance?
2.- LA CONSULTA DEL DOCTOR FORCADELL
The grumpy Dr. Forcadell has gotten competition: a witch who claims to have paranormal powers to heal people. And what is worse!! , Doctor Forcadell has two new assistants, the clumsy Gisbert brothers. Will Dr. Forcadell be able to carry out the examination room in this situation?
3.- AMPOSTA MON AMOUR
Dr. Forcadell looks lonely and old. And the town of Amposta is plunged before a tyrant who is indebting the entire town. Things get worse when the Doctor and the evil Fonollosa fall in love with the same woman. The Gisbert brothers are the only ones who can fix the situation: MAY GOD STOP US CONFESSED !!!
